Homewaters needs to treat the buyers like they are part of the transaction. They act solely for the seller and it's "Buyer Beware". We invested $1000 over our deposit to have a property inspected and appraised, only to have the buyer pull out $1000 from the finish line when we offered $6000 over appraisal. I don't feel that the agent ever acted in our best interest. That's all we did was pay the research for the seller to put the property back on the market. We were never part of the transaction. I hope we, at least, get our down payment back. Unless that was already used by the seller, too. We've wasted a whole summer trying to buy a property that was never really on the market.
